Our research activity is currently focused on the design, synthesis, and characterization of advanced materials with unique properties suitable for a wide range of innovative engineering applications, particularly in the energy field.
We aim to develop new types of materials whose microstructure can be precisely controlled at the nanoscale, leading to enhanced magnetic, magneto-ionic, and electrocatalytic functionalities. The investigated systems include nanoparticles, nanowires, lithographically patterned micro- and nano-objects, mesoporous and nanoporous structures, electrodeposited thin films, and nanocomposite materials.
