Mehrafarin and Yasmine participated in the 2nd Symposium on Active nano/microsystems in the Spanish context (AMES) from 14-15 May, 2026. The symposium focused on the fundamental and applied studies around active microsystems.

Their poster was on Sustainable Synthesis of MIL-53 (Fe): Integrating Life Cycle Assessment in Nanomaterials Early-Stage Development. Yasmine also participated in giving participants a tour of the facilities at UB.
