Filipe completed his secondment at the University of Strathclyde

Filipe completed his secondment at the University of Strathclyde from 22nd June to 14th August, 2026. He worked on diatom motility and different tactic behaviour (Phototaxis, Gravitaxis, Rheotaxis and Chemotaxis) across six benthic species, plus photocatalysis experiments with TiO2 Janus particles. He also gave a 30-minute seminar on diatom motility to the host group.
